Yioop can be run in a single machine or multi-machine setting. In a multi-machine setting, copies of Yioop software would be on different machines. One machine called the '''Name Server''' would be responsible for coordinating who crawls what between these machines. This fieldset allows the user to specify the url of the Name Server as well as a string (which should be the same amongst all machines using that name server) that will be used to verify that this machine is allowed to talk to the Name Server. In a single machine setting these settings can be left at their default values. <br /> When someone enters a query into a Yioop set-up, they typically enter the query on the name server. The '''Use Filecache''' checkbox controls whether the query results are cached in a file so that they don't have to be recalculated when someone enters the same query again. The file cache is purged periodically so that it doesn't get too large. Sometimes it is useful, however, to know the file cache has just been cleared. The '''Clear Cache''' link clears both the file cache as well as the local domain name to IP address cache.
